A Less-Snowy Alternative


Every bride and groom dreams of having their perfect winter wedding photos, but sometimes don’t want to be limited by cold weather. The Utah State Capitol Building offers a unique indoor setting to take stunning winter bridal photos—the perfect backdrop for a romantic couple’s photoshoot!


This is exactly what A&H wanted to do for their bridal session. While snowy pines and grandiose mountains are a stunning backdrop, A&H opted for a warmer alternative during the frigid Utah winter. Throughout the session, the Katie Griff Photo team member was able to capture the love and excitement A&H had for each other, admire the stunning architecture of the Capitol Building, and keep their fingers and toes nice and warm all at the same time. They explored multiple levels, rooms, and angles of the interior of the Capitol Building, and even ventured outside to add further variety to the angles and compositions of the session. "Stunning" doesn't even begin to cover it!
